1. Who we are

Mobbi & Glix is a children’s entertainment brand of Briqubi Entertainment, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 99279746. Briqubi Entertainment is responsible for processing personal data as described in this policy. This policy covers our English website, videos and activities, general inquiries, collaborations and related communications. We pay particular attention to the privacy of children and their parents or legal guardians. For questions, contact [email protected].

2. Information we process

Depending on your contact with us and the website’s technical configuration, we may process your name, email address, message, organization and other information you choose to provide, correspondence, and technical website data such as IP addresses where collected. For collaborations, we may also process necessary contact, administrative and billing information. We limit processing to what is necessary. Please do not send sensitive personal information, such as children’s medical details, through the contact form.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We use contact details and messages to answer inquiries and manage communications, based on legitimate interests or pre-contractual steps where applicable. We process necessary collaboration information on the basis of a contract, legitimate interests when dealing with an organization’s representatives, or legal obligations for administration. We process technical data for website operation, security and prevention of failures on the basis of legitimate interests or consent where required. Social media messages and comments are handled for communication and account management on the basis of legitimate interests or consent where required. Promotional use of identifiable images requires an appropriate legal basis; for identifiable promotional images of children, we obtain the required demonstrable consent from authorized parents or legal guardians.

4. Required and optional information

Providing information is generally voluntary. The contact form requires your name, email address and message so that we can handle your inquiry. Without this information, we may be unable to respond. We do not ask children to submit personal data independently. Parents, carers and authorized adults should contact us on their behalf where appropriate.

5. Children’s privacy

Our content includes entertainment for children aged approximately 4 to 7. We do not knowingly collect unnecessary personal data about children. We do not create our own behavioral advertising profiles of children or sell their information. Where consent is required, we check the authority of the person giving it as far as reasonably possible. The technical behavior of external video and social media platforms is subject to their own privacy information.

6. Photos, video and audio

Creating, storing and publishing recordings are separate processing activities requiring an appropriate legal basis. Where we create or publish identifiable images of children for promotion, we provide the necessary information and obtain the required demonstrable consent from authorized parents or legal guardians, explaining the purpose and publication channels. Consent obtained by another organization for its own publications does not automatically extend to our publications. Consent may be withdrawn at [email protected]. We then stop the relevant processing and remove material to the extent legally required. We cannot always remove copies already distributed by independent third parties.

7. Website, cookies and embedded content

Our website may use functional, analytical and marketing cookies or similar technologies, depending on its technical configuration. Strictly necessary cookies do not require prior cookie consent. An exception may apply to analytical cookies with no or limited privacy implications, but processing personal data always requires a valid GDPR legal basis. We request prior consent for tracking technologies where required; refusing or withdrawing consent must be easy. External video players or other embedded services may process data under their own privacy policies. Details of the cookies and services actually used are provided where legally required.

Language selection

We use Cloudflare to identify the country associated with a visitor’s IP address and select a default website language. Visitors identified as being in the Netherlands or Belgium stay on the Dutch homepage. Visitors from other recognized countries are directed to the English homepage. If the country cannot be reliably determined, the Dutch homepage remains available. Automatic language routing applies only to eligible homepage visits, not to direct links to other pages.

When you select NL or EN, we save your preference in a functional cookie named mobbi_language for six months, unless you delete it earlier or your browser removes it. Your manual choice takes priority over country-based selection. You can change your preference using the language buttons or remove it through your browser settings. This cookie contains only your language preference and is not used for advertising or tracking across websites.

We use country-based selection for our legitimate interest in providing an appropriate website language. The language-preference cookie supports the choice you explicitly request. The routing plugin does not maintain its own database of visitors, IP addresses or country lookups.

YouTube preview images

Our video cards use preview images hosted on YouTube’s image servers. These images may load when you open a page, before you click a video. Your browser therefore connects to Google/YouTube and sends information needed to retrieve the image, including your IP address and potentially browser and referrer information.

Loading a preview image does not itself play the video. If you follow a video link, you visit YouTube, where Google’s privacy and cookie policies apply. These image requests are separate from our language-preference cookie.

8. Social media and external websites

We link to external platforms, including our official video and social media accounts. These platforms may process personal data under their own privacy policies, independently or, in some cases, jointly with other parties. We may process messages, comments and interaction data for communication and account management. We do not have full control over the platforms’ own processing. External links are not automatically covered by this policy.

9. Sharing with others

We do not sell personal data. Where necessary, information may be shared with hosting and website administrators, email and communication services, accounting providers, IT security providers, relevant contractors and competent public authorities. Where a party processes personal data on our behalf, we enter into a data processing agreement if legally required. We share no more than necessary.

10. International transfers

External services and platforms may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. For transfers for which we are responsible, we apply the legal requirements, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses and additional measures where necessary. Information about applicable safeguards is available at [email protected].

11. Retention

We keep personal data no longer than necessary unless a legal obligation or another valid reason justifies longer retention.

Contact inquiries

Contact form messages are delivered by email; the form is not configured to collect submissions in the WordPress submissions database. We retain correspondence while handling the inquiry and any related follow-up. Once the matter is closed and further follow-up is no longer needed, we delete the correspondence unless specific information is still necessary for an ongoing collaboration, a legal obligation, or establishing, exercising or defending a legal claim. In those cases, we retain only the relevant information for that purpose.

Collaboration records are retained for delivery, administration, disputes and applicable legal obligations. Core tax accounting records are generally kept for seven years; special cases may differ. Images are retained for the specified purpose, taking consent and withdrawal into account.

Technical records

Technical records used for website operation, troubleshooting and security are retained only while needed for those purposes. Records relating to a specific technical or security incident may be retained until the incident and any necessary investigation or follow-up have been completed. Longer retention must be justified by a specific legal obligation or legal claim.

Hosting, Cloudflare and email services may maintain their own operational logs. Their retention is determined by the applicable service configuration and provider arrangements. The language-routing plugin does not create a separate visitor log.

We then delete or anonymize information unless further retention is lawful.

12. Security and data breaches

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures, considering the nature and risks of processing. Access is restricted as far as possible to people and service providers who need the information. In the event of a data breach, we assess which measures and notifications to the Dutch Data Protection Authority and/or affected individuals are legally required.

13. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. Requests may be sent to [email protected]. We normally respond within one month and notify you in good time of any legally permitted extension. Where necessary, we request information to verify your identity. Legal exceptions may apply.

14. Automated decision-making

Within our own services, we do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect individuals. External platforms may use their own automated systems; see their privacy information.

15. Complaints and questions

Contact [email protected] with questions or complaints. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority: www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

16. Changes

We may update this policy when our activities, technology or legislation change. The current version is published on our website. We inform affected individuals of significant changes where legally required.
